How to install the version 2014 of Wien2k code on OpenSuse system?

 

First:

Install the OpenSuse system as it's shown in the video below:

Second:

install the necessary packages : For Opensuse you have to install the packages: tcl, gcc from the DVD or online.

Third: 

Install parallel_studio (that includes ifort and icc compilers and mpi labrary) as follows:


- Create a new folder (for example: soft)
- tar xvf "compiler file"
- ./install.sh
- 1
- Pass word
- 1
- Accept
- 3
- 2
- Path of licence

NB: Here you can download the license Ifort license

NB: If the compiler is well installed , you will find it in the folder /opt
